The Black and White Pants

As a lover of all things black and white I was super excited to find these pants.  I've been wanting a pair like these but I never found the right one (within my price range).  If you're like me I would say to hurry and go check out your local h&m in the divided section for these awesome pants.  Played around with the effects a bit and thought the shadows kinda fit the outfit, don't you think?

On another note, this is what I wore to the CollegeFashionista x NYU's Fashion Business Association where I got to see Jennifer Fisher, Jessica Teves, Eva Chen, and Colleen Call, who gave us all amazing advice.  It's hard enough trying to get a foot in the fashion industry so hearing about their experiences and learning from them was definitely a huge motivator to keep going.

Currently lusting after these Jeffrey Campbell Lita's.  When I first saw these I knew I had to get it.  They reminded me of the heels I saw last year by Friend of Mine, an Australian based label.  Sadly, they were way out of my budget but these Lita's are definitely more affordable.  The little gold claws on the back of the heel are just the perfect detail to grab my attention, making it lust worthy in my book. 

The Spot

I've always wanted to take pictures at this spot near my house.  I feel like it's the perfect set up.  Pulled out this dress I got from awhile back and went for a more casual look.  Threw on this bright tee over it and I love the way the shirt brings out the color of my hair.  I'm excited to have found this dress again, I remember why I bought it in the first place even though it was one size too big.  And the best part is that I scored these wedges for under $25, which I thought was a total steal as I have these in black and I paid doubled for those (which were also on sale at the time).  I just can't stay away from a good deal!

First Days

I remember all of or most of my first days of school.  Today was just another one of those days and I guess after so many "first days" I'm sort of used to it all now.  No more nervous breakdowns the night before or anything of that sort.  I'd say its an accomplishment.  Just an outfit from last week that I haven't gotten around to posting.  Kept it plain and simple, perfect for the weather we've been having here in New York.
